Choose the right material

Bambu PAHT-CF is a carbon-fibre-reinforced polyamide for engineering projects specified around this particular material. It is offered in different spool weights and requires an enclosed-printer workflow. Use its dedicated profile, dry the filament before printing and follow the hardened-nozzle guidance. Assess the actual print orientation and operating conditions against the technical data when designing a functional part.

Printing and care

• Use an enclosed printer; PAHT-CF is not suitable for an open-frame printing workflow.
• Dry before use and protect the filament from moisture during printing.
• Use a suitable hardened-steel nozzle; Bambu recommends 0.6 mm. A 0.2 mm nozzle is not compatible and stainless steel is not recommended.
• AMS is supported; AMS lite is not. Check the current guide for other AMS generations.
• Follow the fibre-handling and post-processing guidance.
