Bambu Lab Filament in Canada: Refills, Spools & Bulk Pricing

NEX3D

Buying Bambu Lab filament in Canada? Choose the material for your part, then choose filament with spool if you need the reusable spool, or a refill if you already have a compatible empty one. For larger orders, compare the price of the exact colour and format after any eligible bulk discount.

NEX3D is a Canadian 3D-printing supplier based in Richmond, British Columbia. You can shop filament in CAD, compare formats on each product page, and order for delivery across Canada.

Option What you receive When to choose it
Filament with spool Filament supplied on a spool, as specified by the selected product. Your first order, another colour you want ready to load, or when all your reusable spools are in use.
Refill Filament without the reusable outer spool. You already have a compatible empty reusable spool and want to reuse it.

A refill is not ready to load directly into an AMS. Fit it to a compatible reusable spool first. Check the refill and spool instructions before opening the retaining straps; the roll needs to stay secured during installation. Bambu Lab provides a reusable-spool installation guide.

Need a spool? See the Bambu Lab reusable spool. Check the product’s stated compatibility rather than assuming every refill fits every spool.

Which filament should you buy?

  • For everyday models and prototypes: start by comparing Bambu PLA Basic and PLA Matte. Choose the finish and colour that suit your project.
  • For a part with different performance requirements: compare PETG HF against your printer setup and the part’s intended use. Our PLA, PETG and ABS guide explains the material choices.
  • For engineering or flexible materials: check the exact material’s nozzle, drying, enclosure and feeding-system requirements before ordering. A filament fitting on a spool does not establish AMS compatibility.

How does NEX3D’s mix-and-match bulk pricing work?

Eligible everyday filaments currently use these quantity tiers. You can mix eligible colours and materials; the highest qualifying tier applies automatically in the cart.

Scroll horizontally to read the full table. When focused, use the left and right arrow keys.

Eligible rolls Discount
2–3 5%
4–5 10%
6–9 15%
10 or more 22%

Example: an eligible roll with a base price of C$18.99 works out to approximately C$14.81 at the 10+ tier: C$18.99 × 0.78. This is a quantity-based price, not the price of a single roll. Different colours, spool formats or products may have different base prices, and cart rounding can affect the final total by a few cents.

Prices and offers were checked on September 17, 2026. Use the selected product’s price and your cart for the current offer. Engineering-filament promotions and printer bundles have their own eligibility rules; do not assume every filament or offer qualifies for the same discount.

Ordering filament for delivery in Canada

NEX3D displays prices in Canadian dollars. Orders of C$100 or more after discounts and before taxes qualify for free standard shipping in Canada. All printers qualify with no minimum spend. For smaller non-printer orders, checkout shows the applicable shipping charge. Availability and processing time depend on the selected product; see the shipping policy for current terms.

Common questions

Can I mix colours to reach the bulk tier?

Yes, when the rolls qualify for the same mix-and-match promotion. Add the colours and formats you want, then check the discount in your cart.

Does buying a refill mean buying less filament?

“Refill” describes the packaging format. Compare the stated net weight on the exact products; do not infer weight from the word refill or from a photo.

Will any Bambu filament work with my AMS?

Check the specific filament and AMS model. Material compatibility, spool fit and RFID recognition are separate questions. The product listing and manufacturer’s guidance should confirm the setup you plan to use.

Where can I get help choosing?

Contact NEX3D with your printer model, AMS model if applicable, and what you want to print. Schools and businesses can also request a formal quote or purchase-order support.
